What do the different ticket prices mean?

If attending the event in person, you have 3 different ticket prices, one for members of all grades of The Institute of Leadership, you must enter your membership number for this ticket. Another is for non-members but don’t forget you are welcome to join and get access to other member-only events and a whole host of learning online.

We also believe having colleagues or friends from your network attend events with you enables continued learning of a shared experience following an event and creates an accountability partner. The third ticket we offer is for groups of 5 or more, where you will receive a further discount.

If attending the morning session virtually there is a Hybrid Ticket, for members and non-members, this has not yet been released.

Early bird discounts are currently available, so book now to secure these prices.

More about the venue

We have secured an incredible venue to host Leadership Live 2024 and hope to make your trip as straightforward as possible.

Overlooking the Manchester metropolis, the 23-story hotel is in the heart of the city center. Manchester Arena and Piccadilly Station are a mile away and the venue is surrounded by museums, shops and restaurants. Wake up to floor-to-ceiling views and spend the evening sipping cocktails at Cloud 23- the highest bar in the city. The health club features a fitness center, indoor pool, sauna and steam room for anyone wishing to stay.

Accommodation is available should you wish to stay overnight at the end of the day. Please note the cost of accommodation is not included in the ticket price.

We have reserved some Queen Hilton guestrooms for delegates at The Hilton Manchester Deansgate on both Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th June.

How do I get to the venue?

If travelling by public transport:

Deansgate tram station is a short 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Manchester Oxford Road railway station is a 12-minute walk from the hotel or a short 4-minute taxi journey.

Manchester Piccadilly railway station is a 7-minute taxi journey.

If travelling by car:

Car parking is available close by, less than a 3-minute walk, this cannot be pre-booked however our guests get a 30% discount, payable to the hotel on the day.

If travelling by air:

Manchester Airport is a 20-minute taxi journey to the hotel, and flights from London are just over 1 hour.

On your arrival at Hilton Manchester Deansgate, we will have a host in the main lobby to greet you, then upstairs to the 1st floor, lift also available, where you will meet our Events Team.

We will register you for the event, give you your lanyard and a complimentary gift awaits you. We can advise on WiFi, the location of toilets, MarketSpace Live and our Leadership Live Book Shop and you can settle in for a day of inspiration and networking!

What is MarketSpace Live and The Leadership Live Book Shop?

We have some incredible sponsors at our events, MarketSpace Live is your opportunity to explore their products and services. We also are launching our Leadership Live Book Shop as we have a variety of notable authors within our speakers for this event, you will have the opportunity to purchase their titles at check out and on the day. Is there a dress code for the event?

Leadership Live is our annual conference, and business attire is recommended, no strict dress code is in place and no change of clothes required for dinner.

    Networking isn't my strong point, how do I get the most out of it?

    We understand it sounds daunting to some, that’s why we have organised a virtual event prior to Leadership Live.

      When booking your ticket you will be asked if you have any dietary requirements,

      I can't make it to Manchester this time, is the event live-streamed?

      Sorry, you can’t make it this year, however, the morning is live-streamed!  If you purchase a hybrid ticket, you will get access to all 5 keynote speakers and the panel discussion with Steve Hayes, Kate Richardson-Walsh and Scott Walker. You can even be involved in the Q&A’s, select Hybrid Ticket when purchasing your ticket. Hybrid tickets will be released on 13th May 2024.

      Payment information & can I get a refund if I change my mind?

      If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, please contact events@leadership.global and we can send you a pro forma invoice & bank details to make a transfer.

      Tickets to the event are non-refundable, we are happy to give you virtual access to the morning sessions or transfer the ticket to another delegate. Please note depending on when this is done, the attendee may not be able to choose their own workshops. If you need to transfer your ticket, please contact us and we can discuss the available options.
